The Village Hall is a great asset to our community and is very well used. Numerous classes and clubs are run from the hall and it is the base for regular village social events.
FACILITIES
Car Parking
YCSA provide 28 car parking spaces, including 2 disabled spaces. All car parking is entirely at the vehicle owners risk and YCSA cannot accept any liability
for damage to vehicles within YCSA grounds, regardless of the cause of any damage.
Hirers and their customers must not, in any circumstances, park their vehicles in the adjacent White Lion Pub car park. That car park is exclusively for pub
customers.
Security Cameras
YCSA operate security cameras externally around the Hall. Hirers should be aware of this in the event of any damage or incidents.
Hearing Loops
YCSA have installed Hearing Loops in both the Main Hall and the Annex. These loops substantially enhance the hearing environment for Hall users that have hearing disabilities. Instructions for utilising these Hearing Loops are displayed in the Halls. Hearing aid users should set their Aids to the “T” setting to obtain the benefit of the Hearing Loop facility.
Presentation Projector and Screen
YCSA have installed projector and screen in Annex 1. Hall Hirers may use this equipment at an additional hire rate of £5/hour, subject to them undertaking
instructions from YCSA and providing their own computers.
WIFI
The Halls are equipped with BT Superfast WIFI. This is available to all Hall users free of charge. The WIFI password is displayed on the Hall notice boards.

Located by main door. Funded by Penllyn Community council and YCSA

Booking Rates
The Room Hire Rates are reviewed annually and presented at the AGM in May.
However, YCSA reserve the right to vary hire rates at a minimum of one month’s notice
if external circumstances (i.e. further increased costs) necessitate
Main Hall and kitchen
- £14.50 per hour – Area 113 m2 – Number of Guests 100
- £5.00 per booking for use of oven and hob
Meeting Room with access to kitchen
- £10.00 per hour – Area 28m2 – Number of Guests 28
Annex 1 – with shared tea point
- £13.00 per hour – Area 55m2 – Number of guests 50-60
- £5.00 per hour Presentation Projector and Screen
- User to provide own computer/Laptop and subject to undertaking instruction from a committee member prior to use
Annex 2 – with shared tea point
- 10.00 per hour – Area 23 m2 number of guests 10

Children’s parties (Pre High school age)- £60 per 4hr session payable in advance, plus £50 cash damage waiver paid and refunded on day of event provided Hall left as found.
Gazebo 3m x 6m – Available to hire for private use offsite or an additional extra when booking an event at the Village Hall (subject to booking conditions).
