Ystradowen is a lovely village in the Vale of Glamorgan with a friendly community. Cardiff is 14 miles to the East, Cowbridge is 3 miles to the South and Bridgend is 9 miles to the West.

Constructed in 1987, Ystradowen Village Hall underwent a major expansion and upgrade in 2018 -2019. With 4 different sized rooms for hire it’s a superb, well equipped venue and is suitable for a wide range of events. These could include public meetings, charitable and fundraising events, keep-fit and dance classes, lectures, quiz nights, bridge competitions, wedding and christening receptions, children’s parties and child-based activities, or corporate events. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere with full facilities for the disabled. The Main Hall seats up to 100 closely seated. There is an adjoining Meeting Room seating 28. The modern Kitchen is fully equipped and ideal for catering. There are 2 rooms with tea point for hire in the Annex. Full high speed broadband is available throughout.

There is a car park to the side and rear with parking bays for approximately 28 cars including two disabled bays.
